SmartMenu

The SmartMenu software is continually undergoing improvement with the addition of new features and adjustments to existing ones. In order to benefit from the latest software improvements you will need to update your registered SmartMenu periodically. Do so on the internet following the proceeding instructions.

  1. Exit out of the SmartMenu program. To do so, click Exit on the main menu then click Yes.
  2. Go to the SmartDealerProducts web site at www.SmartDealerProducts.com and click the Updates button located in the menu bar.
  3. In the Updates page, click the word Download that corresponds to the video capture software you are using (SmartMenu, SecureMenu or MasterMenu). This web page features multiple program updates therefore it is important that you select the correct product update.
  4. In the window that appears, click Open or Run.
  5. Click Yes in the window that appears.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the next window you will be asked which additional tasks you wish to perform. Neither of these tasks need to be performed unless this is a new (un-customized) install; in which case the Delete existing SmartMenu database box should be checked. Otherwise only check these boxes if instructed to do so by SmartDealerProducts technical support.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Install.
  10. Make sure the "Yes, restart the computer now" option is selected, and then click Finish at the bottom of the screen.



SmartEye

The SmartEye software is continually undergoing improvement with the addition of new features and adjustments to existing ones. In order to benefit from the latest software improvements you will need to update your registered SmartEye software periodically. Do so on the internet following the proceeding instructions.

  1. Exit out of the SmartEye program. To do so, click Exit on the main menu then click Yes.
  2. Go to the SmartDealerProducts web site at www.SmartDealerProducts.com and click the Updates button located in the menu bar.
  3. In the Updates page, click the word Download that corresponds to the video capture software you are using (SmartEye, SecureEye or MasterView). This web page features multiple program updates therefore it is important that you select the correct product update.
  4. In the window that appears, click Open or Run.
  5. Click Yes in the window that appears.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Make sure that SmartEye is checked then press Next.
  8. Click Install.
  9. Make sure "Yes, restart the computer now" is selected then press Finish.



SmartTrac

The SmartTrac software is continually undergoing improvements with the addition of new features and adjustments to existing ones. In order to benefit from the latest software improvements you will need to update your registered SmartTrac software periodically. To do so from the internet, please follow the instructions listed below.

  1. Exit out of the SmartTrac program. To do so, select Exit from the main menu and then select Yes.
     
  2. Go to the SmartDealer Products web site at www.SmartDealerProducts.com and select the updates button located in the menu bar.
     
  3. In the Updates page, select download within the SmartTrac section. This web page features multiple program updates, therefore it is important that you select the correct product update.
     
  4. In the window that appears, select Open or Run.
     
  5. Select Yes in the window that appears.
     
  6. Select Next.
     
  7. Select Install.
     
  8. Ensure that "Yes, restart the computer now" is selected then press Finish.
